At last we have a departure day after a couple of frustrating weeks (mainly for Bob) trying to get the good old Range Rover on the road. Finally a decision was made to look for another suitable vehicle so Bob and Warwick set off last Monday morning to hunt one down. By the end of the day we were joint owners of a second hand Landrover Discovery which seems to be just what we need. It's in excellent condition and we got it for 'a song' as they say. We have had to get 4 new tyres and replace a few hoses etc, etc, but by and large it's been an excellent buy!
So now Sunday is 'the' day and we are all very excited. We'll be heading for Hillston and then Menindee, Hawker and the Oodnadatta Track and Lake Eyre - can't wait for that! So until our first report from wherever we have reception, bye from the Hubbisons. :-)
