Just another creek crossing
This is our first sighting of the famous Bungle Bungle formationsHi there, you hear some VERY negative things about Halls Creek but so far it has been a pleasant surprise for us. It is a 'dry' community so you can't but bottles of wine or spirits at all from a bottle shop but you can buy low-alcohol beer after 5pm. Had a beautiful Thai meal in the dining room here at the Kimberley Hotel Resort and all staff here have been very pleasant and professional. Our waitress last night was a delightful backpacker from Peru! So here are some pics from our journey into 'Purnululu' or 'The Bungle Bungles'. Sorry there are not many with Bob and Fay in them - I haven't been able to use their photos this time but will rectify in next post!
